Continuing the Quest! We’ve reached the first checkpoint in our Wastedlands Adventure. We’re upgrading every copy of Wastedlands with an extra 50 cards! In designing Wastedlands we had a lot of great ideas for unique cards that ended up being cut so that we could put more "regular" cards in the box. This was to ensure that Wastedlands could be played on its own. But no more! Now we can include all the awesome things we came up with into every box!
Also! You may have noticed our Vampire card and the remastered Werewolf card, in addition to being two of the most powerful cards in DrunkQuest, have a very unique look for Wastedlands. This is our PubHero (or Villain) treatment. Each character has been retouched to give it a spark of new color and a little bit of flair. When we finished the first two we absolutely loved the style and wanted to carry it into the rest of the Wastedlands Villains.
And now we can! This extra treatment takes a lot of extra hours per card but the results are amazing! Each of our 8 Villains in Wastedlands will be done with this treatment and included with every copy ordered through the Kickstarter!
We’ll be revealing the new Fux Monster in the next update and with it your chance to help decide some of the new cards that go into Wastedlands. There’s still a lot of ground to cover, so stay tuned!
